Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking an experienced HR Manager for the Kodiak, AK location. The role leads site HR initiatives, ensures legal compliance, and partners with corporate HR to support talent, performance, and employee engagement across Alaska plants.

The role requires travel to other plants, manages recruitment, onboarding, and payroll processes, and helps drive a positive workplace culture aligned with the company’s Diamond Philosophy.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related HR experience.
• Associate degree required; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience with HR investigations and compliant processes.
• Proficient with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with corporate HR to develop site-specific strategies and ensure legal compliance across local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Conduct HR investigations, document findings, and advise management on actions to resolve issues.
• Maintain personnel files and HR data in the HRIS, including I-9 verifications and confidential documents.
• Administer benefit programs and support enrollment processes.
• Manage time & attendance, payroll processing (UKG) and timecard procedures for supervisors.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations activities.
