Job summary

CMP Pharma, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager in Farmville, NC to develop policy and direct HR activities including employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, and training.

The role includes payroll responsibilities to ensure accurate, compliant processing across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in HR or a related field, 7+ years of experience, payroll expertise (ADP), and SHRM credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR / Business or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years experience processing payroll; knowledge of different state payroll laws.
• Experience with ADP preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes payroll for the entire organization (ADP Workforce Now).
• Manages the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring.
• Works with third party benefit consultants and HR Director to select benefit offerings and maintains records.
• Administers benefit programs such as medical, health, life, 401(k), vacation/PTO, FMLA, etc.
• Develops and maintains HR policies and procedures; consults legal counsel for compliance.
• Maintains HR systems to meet top management information needs.
• Writes and delivers presentations to officers regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, performance review, safety, and harassment.
• Advises executives on employee relations issues.
• Investigates harassment, discrimination, bullying, safety and ethics complaints.
• Prepares employee corrective actions and related documents.
• Prepares reporting for federal and required partners (EEO-1; Vets; OSHA; Workers' Comp audits).
• Represents the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
• Manages and updates the employee handbook.
• Participates in social committee and organizes employee events.
• Member of the internal compensation committee.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in HR / Business or a related field of study
