GLOVIS America, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager to oversee human resources operations, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance.

You will partner with leadership to implement HR programs that support business objectives and promote a positive work environment. The role provides guidance to managers on HR matters, drives fair employment practices, and leverages data to enhance HR effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Experience in employee relations and investigations.
• Talent acquisition and workforce planning expertise.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and case management tools.
• Strong written/verbal communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to HR Operations and leaders on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and separations.
• Address employee concerns and ensure consistent policy application and legal compliance.
• Lead investigations and advise on corrective actions.
• Manage relationships with external recruitment partners to meet hiring needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment through engagement initiatives and transparent communication.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with HQ shared services on payroll actions and compensation changes.
• Support compensation structures aligned with market and organizational goals.
• Develop workforce planning strategies based on business growth and labor market conditions.
• Assist with new business initiatives, expansions, and organizational changes requiring HR input.
• Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and audits.
