Job summary

Mid-States Distributing, LLC, an established Farm, Ranch & Home retailer, seeks an HR Manager for our Lincoln, NE distribution center. You will lead the site’s HR agenda, partnering with operations to optimize staffing, retention, compliance, safety, and culture.

Autonomy in people strategy and advisory support to leadership are key. Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years HR experience in hourly environments, strong employment-law knowledge, and a track record of data-driven decision making using HRIS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; 5–7 years HR experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or hourly workforce.
Experience owning complex employee relations matters, investigations, and corrective action with minimal oversight.
Strong command of federal and state employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, NLRA fundamentals, OSHA).
Experience using workforce data and metrics to drive decisions and influence leadership.
Proficiency with Excel and HRIS/payroll tools.

Responsibilities

Serve on facility leadership team and own site HR metrics.
Lead employee relations investigations end-to-end and render defensible findings.
Own workforce planning for the facility and lead hiring for salaried and leadership roles.
