Anza Mortgage Insurance Corporation is seeking a Director of HR to lead a lean, hands-on HR function for a growing mortgage insurer. You will translate company priorities into practical HR actions, support managers, and own day-to-day HR work with a focus on compliance and efficiency.

You'll manage Recruiting, Onboarding, Employee Relations, and Payroll together with a PEO, while guiding the organization on HR policy, training, and risk management. This leader thrives in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience in lean organizations.
• Hands-on leadership across HR disciplines and compliance.
• Experience with PEOs, HR systems, and policy development.
• Strong ability to guide managers and executives on risk and people decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy and execution, translating priorities into practical actions.
• Provide candid guidance to leaders and manage risk related to employment law.
• Oversee recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and payroll with a PEO.
• Own HR data reporting, policy updates, and vendor management.
• Ensure compliance and protect the company in a regulated environment.
