Job summary

Monte Christo Communities seeks a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead the people strategy across California, Oregon, and Washington. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will supervise a small HR team and ensure compliant, high‑impact programs across the full employee life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience with people management responsibility.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR, or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of the full team member life-cycle: recruiting coordination, onboarding, performance management, development, and offboarding.
• Oversee multi-state talent acquisition to ensure timely, compliant hiring.
• Ensure consistent onboarding experiences that reinforce culture and expectations.
• Administer performance management processes, goal-setting frameworks, and manager support tools.
• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, role design, and internal mobility.
