Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks a Senior Human Resources Manager for a rapidly growing manufacturing organization in Austell, GA. This onsite leadership role partners with senior leadership while staying closely connected to employees and operations.

You will lead HR strategy and day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance and driving workforce planning, employee relations, and development with a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience including oversight of 150+ employees.
• Experience as top HR leader working with senior executives.
• Manufacturing or distribution HR experience including 24/5 operation.
• SHRM-CP certification required; additional HR certifications a plus.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state employment laws including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and DOL requirements.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, performance management, and advising senior leadership.
• Experience with HR analytics, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Microsoft Office proficiency; Paylocity HRIS experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead employee relations, workplace investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, workforce planning, succession planning, and employee retention initiatives.
• Manage compensation and benefits programs, including annual reviews, merit increases, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain HR policies, records, and the employee handbook.
• Oversee HR systems, reporting, analytics, and process improvements.
• Develop and coordinate employee, supervisor, and leadership training and development.
• Build strong relationships throughout the organization while promoting accountability, engagement, and a positive workplace culture.
