Job summary

Arizona State University’s School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment (SSEBE) seeks a seasoned Human Resources Principal to lead HR operations, supervise staff, and align payroll and hiring with policy and law. This role reports to the HR Manager and drives strategic initiatives across SSEBE.

The ideal candidate combines strong HR administration, supervisory experience, and a collaborative leadership style to support a fast-paced, dynamic environment in higher education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day direction to HR professionals and student workers.
• Partners with HR Manager to spearhead change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Process payroll transactions and activities for new and existing employees and resolve discrepancies.
