Confidential employer in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Corporate HR Manager to oversee core HR programs, support leaders and employees, and help ensure consistent, compliant people practices across multiple sites.

This role requires discretion, sound judgment, and strong collaboration with internal teams, benefit brokers, plan providers, and outside advisors to deliver reliable, scalable HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Progressive HR or senior leadership experience.
• HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI, CIPD) preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience coordinating benefits, retirement, and workers’ compensation.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment requirements.
• Strong judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead employee benefits administration including renewals, enrollments, and communications.
• Oversee retirement-plan administration and Form 5500 filings.
• Manage workers’ compensation processes and return-to-work matters.
• Maintain employment-law compliance and coordinate agency responses.
• Guide employee relations and workplace investigations with discretion.
• Coordinate leave administration (FMLA, COBRA) and related processes.
• Oversee ACA reporting coordination with providers.
• Maintain HR policies, handbooks, and job descriptions.
• Lead HR support staff with repeatable processes and clear ownership.
• Build relationships with brokers, administrators, carriers, and counsel.
• Provide guidance and training to managers and HR staff; maintain confidential records.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen HR procedures and risk management.
