Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to serve as the primary on-site HR partner at a unionized manufacturing facility. This role covers day-to-day HR operations, employee and labor relations, investigations, workforce planning, policy administration, and compliance, partnering with site leadership and union reps to maintain a productive, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a unionized environment.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing employee relations issues.
• Knowledge of labor law, CBAs, grievances, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with HRIS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for union-related matters at the facility.
• Interpret and administer CBAs and ensure consistent application of provisions.
• Partner with operations leaders to address employee concerns and disputes.
• Investigate grievances and respond in accordance with the CBA.
• Provide guidance on labor laws, contract interpretation, and employee relations.
• Manage onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations; maintain records.
• Support payroll, benefits, and HR life-cycle activities as needed.
