Job summary

Advanced Hospitality is seeking an HR Generalist to manage employee relations, coaching, policy compliance, and client advisory across hospitality, healthcare, and municipal sectors. You will handle investigations, conduct interviews, and draft corrective actions while maintaining thorough records and ensuring legal compliance.

The role requires strong communications, multi-site support, and proficiency with HRIS/ATS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years HR experience focusing on employee relations and personnel matters.
• Familiarity with union environments or public-sector labor practices is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, wage & hour).
• Experience supporting multi-site or outsourced HR clients is a plus.
• HR certifications (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations for assigned projects, including investigations and performance management guidance.
• Advise clients on best practices for handling personnel issues fairly and legally.
• Draft corrective action documentation and ensure follow-through when requested.
• Respond to employee complaints, conduct internal interviews, and recommend resolutions.
• Provide onsite HR support at client locations as requested.
• Support municipal clients with union matters and CBAs interpretations.
• Coordinate with legal counsel to ensure labor law compliance.
• Assist in documenting arbitration, negotiations, or labor board proceedings.
• Review and enforce HR policies and ensure legal compliance across clients.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws, including hospitality and public sector specifics.
• Provide support during government audits and investigations.
• Deliver coaching and training sessions on performance management, complaints, and compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of employee issues, investigations, and actions.
• Use HRIS and document management systems for updates and reporting.
