Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4-6 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience administering employee benefits and HR compliance programs.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Experience with HRIS systems, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting employee relations, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and administer HR policies and union provisions.
• Serve as primary HR contact for SEIU-represented employees and managers.
• Manage onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation.
• Administer union benefit billing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Conduct payroll, benefits audits, and maintain compliance.
• Maintain HRIS records and personnel files; manage leave programs.
• Support worker's compensation, unemployment claims, and accommodations.
• Partner with leaders on performance management and development initiatives.
• Assist with recruiting, workforce planning, and retention activities.
• Conduct employee communications and engagement activities.
