Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience administering employee benefits and HR compliance programs.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Experience with HRIS systems, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting employee relations, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Understand, interpret, and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs including designated Collective Bargaining Agreement provisions.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers within the SEIU-represented workforce.
• Manage onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation processes.
• Administer union benefits billing, reconciliation, and related reporting.
• Conduct audits of payroll, employee records, seniority tracking, benefit eligibility, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and contractual requirements; address compliance concerns with leadership.
• Investigate employee concerns and assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Manage Step 1 grievances and support grievance resolution with HRBP; participate in Step 2 discussions as needed.
