Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist based in Harvey, IL to lead talent acquisition, employee relations, coaching, and HR program delivery for a growing site. You will work under the Director of Human Resources and partner with operations to strengthen workforce capability and engagement.

In this role you’ll manage recruitment, employee coaching, data reporting, and investigations while aligning HR initiatives with Lean methodologies. Domestic travel to support sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience in a professional setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
• Experience in a matrix organizational environment preferred.
• Willingness to work early or off-shift hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition for salaried and hourly roles including screening and interviewing applicants.
• Handle employee relations, coaching and counseling to maximize associate contribution.
• Support safety and infrastructure operations with HR initiatives and investigations.
• Drive performance management, succession planning and training with leadership.
• Collaborate across HR functions and support Lean/GEMBA activities.
