Job summary

Atkore in Harvey, IL is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to lead talent acquisition, employee relations, coaching, and workforce analytics for the Harvey operations.

Under the Director HR, you will drive recruitment for salaried and hourly staff, manage manpower planning, and partner with leadership to advance Atkore's values and Lean initiatives.

Travel may be required and you will join a small team delivering HR solutions across Safety and Infrastructure Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
• 5+ years of Human Resources experience.
• Excellent computer skills with ability to analyze information and create reports.
• Ability to coach employees and management through complex issues.
• Experience in a matrix environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition for salaried and hourly staff, including recruiting, screening and interviewing applicants.
• Manage manpower planning and job movement activities and payroll interface.
• Use data to identify people priorities and future workforce needs.
• Drive employee engagement and positive relations across the site.
• Assist with employee relations investigations and the grievance process.
