Atkore International is seeking a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to partner with site leadership in Harvey, IL, delivering strategic HR support across talent acquisition, employee relations, coaching, and performance management.
You will lead projects, drive Lean/continuous improvement on HR processes, and collaborate across HR functions to align with Atkore's values and safety culture. This role requires strong communication, change leadership, and the ability to operate in a matrix environment.

This is a professional opportunity for a business minded, hands-on HR professional who has demonstrated they are able to execute projects, make an impact, and is a true change agent. Under the guidance of the Director Human Resources, the Sr. HR Generalist will lead and execute talent acquisition/staffing, employee relations, coaching and counseling for the employee population to maximize the contribution of our associates. This individual will work within a small team and lead and/or co-lead various projects in areas such as supervisor skills training, manpower analysis and employment, recognition and employee investigations. Based in Harvey, IL, this individual will be a valuable member providing HR support for Safety and Infrastructure with initial focus on Harvey (IL) Operations.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $81,200 - $111,650. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
