As of posting, pay range is $82,640–$113,630 with placement dependent on competencies and experience.

Qualifications

Sr. Human Resources Generalist – Corporate

Who We Are Looking For

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources - CM&P and Commercial Operations, the Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for being a business partner and providing a range of HR services to their Commercial Operations client groups. They will be an integral contributor to the success of our HR team by also supporting execution of talent management programs and supporting Talent Acquisition in a recruiting capacity. What You’ll Do

Act as strategic business partner for multi‑location client groups by creating and leading HR solutions to ensure overall performance within those groups.
Provide HR support in new initiative rollouts in the form of innovative ideas, communication, change management, and thought partnership.
Partner with leaders within your client groups to drive talent management and performance management, which includes succession planning, training and development, performance review completion, etc.
Support, drive and lead process improvements for enterprise‑wide HR programs and best practices, including “owning” multiple initiatives.
Handle full‑cycle recruitment for all positions within client groups. These will be mostly made up of professional positions, contractors and occasionally interns.
Provide coaching, tools and support to help management teams drive performance and engagement & alignment with their employees.

What You Bring

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or a related field (this is required; additional higher education is great!).
A PHR certification never hurts, but it’s more important that have at least some experience as the go‑to business partner for a group of people in an organization.
Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in a Human Resources, preferably in a mid‑size company (1,000 – 10,000 employees) and with experience in multiple HR disciplines.
The ability to manage a project and the desire to “own” enterprise‑level initiatives.

Within 3 Months, You’ll:

Complete your new hire “Immersion” so that you are ready to rock in your new role.
Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
Be fully competent in navigating Atkore’s HRIS (UKG) and be almost completely familiar with the day‑to‑day ‘standard work’ for all HR processes that are fundamental to the HR Business Partner role at Atkore.

Within 6 Months, You’ll:

Not only be known to everyone in your client group as their HR business partner, but they are ecstatic that they get to have YOU as their business partner.
Be comfortable with the day‑to‑day activities necessary to serve your client groups.
Have assumed ownership of one or more enterprise‑wide initiatives or are an active participant on HR best practice teams.

Within 12 Months, You’ll:

Have built a reputation as someone who is reliable, uses good judgment, hits deadlines, and has made mistakes that you’ve learned from.
Have mastered your day‑to‑day duties and have not only taken ownership over one or more enterprise‑wide initiatives or HR best practice teams, but you have actively made improvements.

Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
