Invenergy, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Senior HR Generalist to partner with leaders across a multi-state client group. You will guide employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and compliance with employment laws while shaping people strategies that support growth.

Qualifications

• BA in HR or related field required.
• 5+ years as HR Generalist or Business Partner.
• Experience leading complex investigations.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state and federal employment laws.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Demonstrated confidentiality and discretion.
• Travel up to 5%.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Liaison between management and employees; interpret and administer policies.
• Assist with development and administration of programs and guidelines.
• Develop and implement HR policies and maintain handbooks.
• Maintain compliance with local, state and federal employment laws.
• Advise and counsel managers on HR and employment issues.
• Conduct investigations on employee, customer and vendor complaints including harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
