Job summary

Duquesne Light Company in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Senior HR Generalist who partners with the Senior Manager, HRBP to deliver strategic and operational HR support across assigned business units. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field is required.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated business partner and employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of talent management, performance management, workforce planning, and employment policies/practices.
• Experience supporting organizational change, talent initiatives, and HR program implementation.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR partnership with leaders to support workforce, talent, and organizational strategies.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent management activities.
• Provide guidance on organizational structure, role alignment, workforce capacity, and change readiness.
• Support talent management, leadership development and employee development processes.
• Partner with leaders to execute change management initiatives and adoption of organizational changes.
• Promote employee engagement, accountability, performance excellence, and ongoing development.
• Provide consultation on employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
• Support labor relations activities, contract administration and collective bargaining where applicable.
• Execute HR programs, manage day-to-day activities, reporting, and partner support for assigned client groups.
• Analyze workforce metrics to identify risks and opportunities; lead HR projects and continuous improvement.
