Amentum is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to deliver high-level Human Resources support across recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and employee relations at Naval Air Station Fallon, NV. This role emphasizes a positive workplace culture, engagement, and timely HR operations.

Responsibilities include partnering with managers, guiding interviews, managing Workday processes, handling investigations, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and collective bargaining agreements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business, psychology, or related field; 2 years per year substituted.
• Minimum 5 years of well-rounded HR generalist experience with employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Experience in leave management (FMLA, ADA, state leaves) and workers’ comp coordination.
• Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and HR analytics; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and hiring support; partner with managers to post jobs and coordinate interviews.
• Onboarding and orientation via Workday; guide benefits enrollment and policy orientation.
• Manage employee relations, investigate concerns, mediate conflicts, advise on resolutions.
• Support performance management and coaching for managers; implement performance tools.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws and collective bargaining agreements.
• Administer FMLA, ADA accommodations, leaves, and workers’ comp through return-to-work.
• Liaise with third-party admins and HR leadership to support initiatives.
