Job summary

Animix, LLC. is hiring a Senior Human Resources Generalist to lead people operations for a growing manufacturing organization based in Juneau, WI. You will own day-to-day HR execution and partner with an external HR consulting firm for specialized support on complex employee relations, compliance, investigations, and strategic HR initiatives.

Structured onboarding during the first 90 days, with regular check-ins and guided handoffs as you transition to a long-term on-call support model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the full HR function, ensuring accurate, compliant day-to-day operations.
• Manage employee data, HR workflows, reporting, and processes in Paylocity and SharePoint.
• Run weekly payroll and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain confidential, audit-ready employee records.
• Administer compliance programs (FMLA, ADA, OSHA, I-9, unemployment).
• Support managers with attendance tracking and corrective actions.
• Prepare workforce metrics and HR KPI reporting for leadership.
• Maintain and update HR policies, SOPs, and procedures.
• Support office administration, vendor coordination, and workflows.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting from posting to hire and candidate experience.
• Oversee onboarding and 90-day integration milestones; manage offboarding.
• Coach managers through employee relations; conduct workplace investigations.
• Support performance reviews, PIPs, terminations, and annual reviews.
