Job summary

Hydro Extrusions seeks a Senior HR Generalist to coordinate HR functions at the plant level, focusing on employee relations, recruiting partnerships, and performance management, while adhering to CBAs where applicable. This role supports the HR Manager and drives workforce planning with leadership teams.

You will manage investigations, training initiatives, and HRIS activities, ensuring legal compliance and high workplace standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• English required; additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead employee relations efforts, investigations, conflict resolution and grievance support.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA, CBAs where applicable, and internal policies.
• Oversee workforce planning with recruiting and leadership for staffing needs.
• Drive training and development, leadership programs, and supervisor coaching.
• Manage performance cycles for hourly and salaried staff with data analysis and reporting.
• Escalate payroll, compensation, benefits, and leave administration issues.
• Operate HRIS, record management, KPI reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
