Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced HR professional to drive full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, and HRIS support. You will help attract top talent, support engagement, and ensure adherence to company policies and employment regulations.

The role requires 4–8 years of HR experience, strong knowledge of wage/benefit surveys, and excellent communication skills. On-site day shift with opportunities to coordinate training and office events.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Business, HR or equivalent experience.
• Experience in HR compliance, policy administration, and HRIS is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and conduct reference checks for applicants.
• Update job requirements and descriptions to align with HR objectives.
• Process background checks and drug tests; manage new hire paperwork.
• Assist wage/benefit survey analyses and compile HR reporting (EEO, etc.).
• Plan onboarding strategies and conduct new employee orientation.
• Analyze exit interviews and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Support employee relations and counseling as needed.
• Respond to employee inquiries about policies and programs.
• Process workforce and status changes in HRIS; maintain data accuracy.
• Oversee HRIS reporting and ensure up-to-date personnel information.
• Maintain I-9 forms in compliance with federal laws.
• Coordinate on-site training and office events.
• Conduct data research and project work; respond to unemployment and wage claims.
