Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an HR Generalist II at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights. You will support employees and leaders through complex employee relations matters, strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day HR operations, providing counsel and guidance aligned with our values and policies.

As a caregiver in this role, you will partner with HR COEs, handle investigations, manage performance processes, and drive engagement while ensuring regulatory and accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field and five years of progressive HR experience.
• OR Associate’s Degree and five years of progressive HR experience and two years of project management experience.
• OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of progressive HR experience and four years of related PM experience.
• Knowledge of employment and labor laws (EEO, FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, NLRA, etc.).
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and group facilitation and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a confidential advisor on employee relations, performance management, corrective and disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Interpret and apply HR policies and programs across caregivers.
• Conduct employee investigations and facilitate Right of Review processes.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to support caregiver needs.
• Counsel client groups and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Analyze HR and business metrics and provide leadership recommendations.
• Support HR COE programs and workforce planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Support development needs and training for organizational segments.
• Monitor compliance with initiatives including training, vaccination and engagement.
• Participate in leadership councils and committees; perform other duties as assigned.
