Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic seeks an HR Generalist II to support employees and leaders with complex employee relations matters, HR initiatives and day-to-day operations. You will collaborate with the Director, HR Services to implement strategies for the Institute, Division or Hospital, acting as a trusted advisor on policy, engagement and workforce issues.

Qualifications

• .Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of progressive HR experience with knowledge of employment laws.
• .Experience in employee relations, investigations and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as confidential advisor on employee relations, performance management, investigations.
• Interpret and apply HR policies across caregiver levels.
• Partner with HR COEs (Talent, Compensation, Legal) to support needs.
• Counsel client groups and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide leadership with recommendations.
• Support workforce planning, promotions, equity reviews, and reclassifications.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, ODH and regulatory practices.
• Develop training plans and monitor organizational initiatives.
