Job summary

Integrated Services of Kalamazoo (ISK) is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our mission-driven team. You will partner with departments to guide recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and performance management, while overseeing FMLA/ADA/Workers’ Compensation matters and advising on complex cases.

The role emphasizes leadership in HR initiatives, a supportive culture, and a hybrid work schedule with potential remote days after six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience or equivalent.
• Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA).
• Experience with HRIS, ATS platforms, and sourcing CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned departments, providing guidance in recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and performance management.
• Oversee and manage FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Compensation cases, including documentation and communication.
• Mentor HR Generalist team members with complex cases and policy interpretation.
• Lead HR initiatives such as career fairs, recruitment campaigns, and internship programs.
• Participate in agency committees shaping organizational culture.
