Hudbay is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to administer site HR for the Copper World project near Sahuarita, AZ. You will advise site management, ensure regulatory compliance, and execute HR policies to scale the workforce in a mining-focused operation.

The role requires 5+ years HR experience within mine, construction, or manufacturing contexts, with strong HRIS proficiency, dispute resolution, and data management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years HR experience.
• Experience in mine, construction or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and EEO compliance.
• Proficient HRIS systems; strong data management and auditing skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer all site-related HR responsibilities and align with broader initiatives.
• Collaborate with Director of HR to localize policies and plans.
• Lead recruiting and staffing to scale the workforce.
• Maintain site HR files under legal and policy requirements.
• Resolve conflicts through investigations and disciplinary guidance.
• Adapt duties to shifting needs in a fast-paced project environment.
