Hudbay is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to administer site HR for the Copper World project near Sahuarita, AZ. You will advise site management, ensure regulatory compliance, and execute HR policies to scale the workforce in a mining-focused operation.
The role requires 5+ years HR experience within mine, construction, or manufacturing contexts, with strong HRIS proficiency, dispute resolution, and data management skills.

Reporting to the Director of HR, the Senior HR Generalist will administer all site-related Human Resources responsibilities at our Copper World project in Helvetia, Arizona. Serving as a key advisor to site management, this position is essential in ensuring compliance with government regulations, executing HR policies, managing employee relations, and scaling the site workforce. To be successful in this dynamic environment, the ideal candidate must have proven local site experience within the mining, construction, or manufacturing industries.
