Job summary

d-Matrix is seeking a Senior HR Generalist with deep compensation and data expertise to drive defensible pay decisions in a competitive AI talent market. This IC role owns benchmarking, salary structures, internal equity, and merit modeling while supporting broader People Operations.

You'll partner with HRBPs, Business Leaders, Talent Acquisition, and Legal to deliver data-informed HR services and maintain HR policies and SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in HR Operations with hands-on compensation experience.
• Experience with market benchmarking and salary structure design.
• Knowledge of equity compensation.
• Strong Excel and ability to build models.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS systems such as ADP WFN and Ashby.

Responsibilities

• Lead market benchmarking and survey data analysis to keep salary ranges and job structures competitive and defensible.
• Own job matching and leveling, ensuring consistency and internal equity across the organization.
• Build and maintain compensation models for merit cycles, bonus pools, and promotions, translating data into clear recommendations.
• Support offer construction and internal equity analysis for new hires, promotions, and internal moves, including equity compensation.
• Build and maintain HR reporting and dashboards (e.g., headcount, comp analytics, turnover).
• Own core People Operations processes - onboarding, offboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
• HR systems owner (ADP WFN, Ashby, Lattice); ensure data accuracy and support integrations and audits.
• Partner cross-functionally on HR service delivery and update policies in response to regulatory changes.
