Job summary

Imperial Brady, a leading North American distributor, seeks an experienced Senior HR Generalist in City of Industry, CA. You will guide management on complex personnel issues, foster a supportive culture, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple departments.

With 8+ years in HR, bilingual English/Spanish capabilities, and labor-relations experience, you will partner with corporate HR to align staffing, training, and policy implementations while supporting a dynamic workforce of 13,000+

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, or equivalent.
• PHR certification preferred, not required.
• 8+ years progressive leadership experience in Human Resources.
• Labor relations experience in unionized facilities.
• Experience managing centralized HR across multiple divisions.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to management and staff on complex, sensitive personnel matters and legal implications; handle delicate HR processes, including reasonable accommodations, misconduct investigations, and terminations.
• Foster a positive, employee-focused culture that advances company goals and employee satisfaction through local and company-wide initiatives.
• Advise management and staff on complex, sensitive personnel matters and legal implications; manage delicate HR processes, including reasonable accommodations, misconduct investigations, and terminations.
• Identify workforce skill gaps and collaborate with local leadership and Corporate HR to implement training programs.
• Partner with the HR Area Director and Corporate HR to resolve union grievances and develop and enforce employee disciplinary policies.
• Collaborate with local leadership and Corporate HR to identify talent strategies and staffing needs, partnering with Corporate Talent Acquisition to fill positions.
• Coordinate with Corporate Payroll, Benefits, and HR teams to resolve related issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and reporting requirements, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, DOL, OSHA, and workers' compensation regulations.
