Job summary

Bronco Wine Company is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to oversee benefits programs, payroll backup, and core HR services at our Ceres, CA location. This full-time role ensures legal compliance, accurate records, and a positive employee experience, coordinating with HR leadership, payroll, and finance.

You will support onboarding, enrollment, and employee relations while enabling workforce planning and process improvements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, including benefits administration and payroll coordination; senior-level generalist experience preferred
• Experience in a California employment environment strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide benefits program guidance to employees and managers on HR processes
• Assist onboarding processes related to benefits enrollment and HR documentation
• Promote a positive employee experience through responsive HR support
• Serve as the first point of contact for HR policies, procedures, and programs
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
• Partner with managers on recruitment for regional positions
• Support HR compliance with federal, state, and local laws across locations
• Administer employee benefits, leave programs, and accommodations
• Assist training and development initiatives and compliance training
• Conduct regular site visits to provide in-person HR support
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy of records
• Lead or support HR projects and related duties
