KBR is currently seeking seasoned HR Generalist to drive development, implementation and administration of human resources programs, policies, processes and procedures designed to attract, retain and reward employees globally in alignment with overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality customer service in support of KBR Corporate Functions across Legal, People Team, HSSE, and Marketing/Communications.
  • Implement and administer employment policies to support strategic Company and Program Management objectives.
  • Ensure compliance and maintenance of the organization's standards, requirements, and procedures for human resources activities.
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures, staying current with employment law compliance and concerns.
  • Administer HRIS functions, including documentation and workflows, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.
  • Maintain records related to engagement and pay matters for internal audit and compliance purposes.
  • Assist in setting employee performance expectations and corrective actions, collaborating with Senior HR and staff management teams.
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, including dispute resolutions, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Direct resources and prioritize tasks.
  • Develop and execute HR initiatives that align with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure HR strategies support overall business goals.

Qualifications
  • At least 5+ years' experience in Human Resources and/or related professional discipline
  • Experience in HR policies and procedures, with an understanding of HR best practices, current regulations and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Workday HRIS platform
  • Additional experience in staffing processes and tools for relevancy.
  • Working knowledge and familiarity of hiring processes, including resource management, documentation and regulations/compliance requirements.

  • Fluent and applicable IT skills- including MS Office suites, HR Information Systems and HR Management tools such as Workday, SharePoint.

Location: Local to the Houston, TX KBR office location (preferred)
