Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to serve as a strategic partner shaping culture, engagement, and workforce planning in Akron, OH. You will lead employee relations, benefits, compensation, and risk management while partnering with executives to drive HR strategy.

You will oversee policy development, compliance with employment laws, investigations, and performance management, plus training on safety and ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Organizational Development or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with exposure to employee relations, compliance, benefits administration and HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and supporting conflict resolution initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR compliance initiatives, employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and risk management programs.
• Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
• Administer employee benefits programs, leave management processes, accommodations, disability programs, and HRIS systems.
• Support compensation administration, job description management, and employee lifecycle process improvements.
• Coach and advise supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy application.
• Lead employee training programs related to safety, harassment prevention, ethics, leadership development, and workplace compliance.
• Utilize HR data, reporting, and technology to identify trends, improve processes, and support business objectives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field

5+ years of progressive HR experience

Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and relationship management skills
