Job summary

POWERX is seeking an HR Compliance & Total Rewards Manager to lead our compliant, data-driven HR programs across a distributed workforce in the United States. You will guide benefits, compensation, leave, and HRIS while ensuring all employment laws are followed.

You will partner with legal, payroll, and business leaders to advise on policy changes, optimize total rewards, and maintain data integrity. This role demands deep regulatory expertise and hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in HR compliance/benefits/compensation.
• Hands-on experience managing HR compliance for a multi-state workforce.
• In-depth knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and related laws.

Responsibilities

• Own POWERX's HR compliance program across states and ensure wage/hour, PTO, and job postings compliance.
• Lead benefits administration, compensation, leave management, and HRIS coding/reporting.
• Advise leadership on compliance risk and approach; manage audits and data privacy controls.
• Handle sensitive employee relations matters and conduct investigations objectively.
• Maintain I-9/E-Verify compliance and immigration program activities.
