Senior HR Business Partner, Tides Center

The Tides Center People Department is seeking a new Senior HR Business Partner to join its team of skilled, mission-driven HR practitioners. Organizations who partner with Tides Center receive our 501c(3) status, operational guidance, financial accounting, payroll and benefits services, grants management and HR consulting. The new Sr. HRBP will work in close partnership with Tides employees from the aforementioned departments to ensure that each nonprofit receives the support it needs to be successful.

The Sr. HR Business Partner is responsible for providing HR advisory services to a diverse portfolio of partners. The main areas of focus include:

  1. Complex employee relations and investigations
  2. Onboarding
  3. Management development
  4. Coaching
  5. Performance management
  6. Compensation
  7. Benefits
  8. Compliance

This position also leads and collaborates on cross-functional teams to complete organizational projects, improve processes and procedures, and increase organizational effectiveness.

The Sr. HR Business Partner is responsible for uplifting and embodying Tides core values and JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) principles. Tides’ impact goal to shift and strengthen power to those communities and leaders who have been historically denied power is integral to the work of the Tides Center People Team. To that end, Tides is seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner who has both the HR expertise and an understanding of how systems of oppression show up in the workplace to support staff at all levels.
