Job summary

Sysco in Kentucky seeks an HR Business Partner to work with senior leadership on local and enterprise-wide HR initiatives. You will align workforce planning with strategic business goals and drive talent development across the OpCo.

You will lead performance management, training, and investigations, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Strong communication and coaching skills are essential, along with experience in HR programs and SAP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
7+ years of exempt HR leadership experience; 10+ years preferred.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Strong consulting, presentation, and business communication skills.
Valid driver's license and driving record meeting Sysco standards.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior management to identify and develop talent through training, mentoring, coaching, and stretch assignments.
Oversee performance management, associate reviews and evaluations with OpCo leaders.
Provide training and consultation as necessary.
Respond to grievances, review disciplinary programs, investigations, and arbitration prep.
Coach leaders on employment policy interpretation, dispute resolution, and leave matters.
Coordinate recruiting with Talent Acquisition to ensure diverse, skilled hires and manage turnover.
Oversee benefits and compensation policies and communicate programs to associates.
Deliver leadership training on ethics, labor laws, and HR policies.
Manage Sysco Interactive University and STEP programs; support HR staff.
