Job summary

PUMA is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner in Somerville, MA to lead end-to-end human resources for designated business groups, including attraction, onboarding, development, performance, engagement, and transition. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent combination of experience)
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines (workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, career development)
• Strong knowledge of US and Canada labor law and HR best practices
• Exceptional relationship-building, coaching, and partnership across levels
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Results-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic end-to-end HR partner by owning the full employee lifecycle for assigned business groups (attraction, onboarding, development, performance, engagement, transition)
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and leaders for responsible corporate teams
• Translate global HR strategy and CoE standards into regional priorities and plans
• Provide effective employee relations support through coaching, policy interpretation, and incident investigation
• Guide managers through talent management processes to ensure consistency and actionable plans
• Identify learning opportunities for employees and offer ongoing development
• Support headcount planning and recruiting for respective functional teams
• Analyze HR metrics to assess effectiveness of people management practices
• Oversee immigration cases; visa, PERM and renewals with external counsel
• Ensure compliance with HR-related laws and contribute to policy programs
• Participate in HR projects related to employee experience and organizational effectiveness
