Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to join its HR Client Services (HRCS) team, supporting leaders and employees across multiple business lines in the North Central US region. You will function as a trusted advisor, strategist, consultant, and coach to drive HR initiatives and organizational effectiveness.

You will collaborate with business leaders to deploy the HR Strategic Plan, facilitate workforce planning, and elevate employee engagement while balancing compliance and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
• HR certifications such as PHR/SPHR/GPHR or SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish effective working relationships with internal client groups and HR colleagues.
• Partner with clients to identify strategic issues and design solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and present multiple perspectives.
• Provide strategic HR guidance across engagement, retention, talent development, and change.
• Promote a positive work environment and employee experience.
• Lead trainings and HR-related projects; collaborate on regional initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and ROI of HR programs.
• Collaborate with dispersed teams to communicate HR programs to client groups.
