The State of Indiana is seeking a Senior Human Resource Business Partner to provide day-to-day consultation and coordinate HR programs for the Indiana Department of Corrections at the Pendleton Correctional Facility.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of HR management and administration.
• Extensive knowledge of state HR policies and Civil Rights regulations.
• Experience in employee relations, policy guidance and training development.
• Ability to analyze data and document findings with diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Consult agency executives and staff on HR functions and policies.
• Identify classification/compensation issues and propose solutions.
• Develop and deliver training on HR topics and procedures.
• Review agency policies and work improvement plans for compliance.
• Coordinate onboarding of new employees and maintain HR records.
• Contribute to agency goals and continual process improvements.
