The candidate will lead talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and HR operations in a dynamic construction-industry environment, supporting a diverse workforce and a stable, growth-focused company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HR experience, preferably in construction.
• Knowledge of California Labor Law and Federal laws.
• Experience with union and non-union employee management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Bridge management and employee relations; address grievances.
• Manage recruitment and selection to attract top talent.
• Oversee performance appraisal systems to drive high performance.
• Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
• Assess training needs and monitor training programs.
• Provide decision support via HR metrics to management.
• Ensure legal compliance in HR practices.
• Handle investigations, LOAs, protected leaves, and ADA requirements.
• Supervise HR administration, HRIS, scheduling, and coordination tasks.
• Foster a positive work environment with teamwork and integrity.
