The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) for MOREgroup Texas Region will be responsible for partnering with assigned teams on all things people and continue to support the ONE MORE culture with regional and local processes. This role will partner with key regional leaders on employee relations, implementing HR programs and initiatives, and providing on-the-ground support when needed. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, innovative thinker, and problem solver with a strong business acumen and deep understanding of local HR law and employee relations practices.

This role requires experience in implementing national HR strategies into local, regional cultures and a background in compensation, performance management, and employee relations. This role is also a strong partner to the shared services HR Delivery Team, helping in facilitating improvement as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regional HR Leadership: Serve as the primary HR contact for designated regional areas, providing guidance and support to regional leaders on HR-related matters. This includes addressing employee relations issues, implementing HR programs, employee onboarding at the local level, employee development and succession planning, talent selection and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations within the region, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations. Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to foster a positive work environment.
  • HR Program Implementation: Implement HR programs and initiatives at the regional level, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall HR strategy. This includes talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement programs.
  • On-the-Ground Support: Provide on-the-ground HR support as needed, including conducting site visits, attending regional meetings, and addressing urgent HR issues. This role requires the ability to travel to various office locations across the US.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction within the region. This includes conducting employee surveys, organizing engagement activities, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with HR Delivery and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery. Act as a liaison between regional leaders and the central HR team to address HR needs and challenges.
  • Innovative Thinking: Identify opportunities for HR process improvements and innovative solutions to address regional HR challenges. This includes leveraging HR technology and data analytics to drive HR effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations within the region. Mitigate HR-related risks by developing and implementing effective conflict resolution processes.
  • Compensation & Performance Management: Oversee compensation and performance management processes within the region. This includes conducting salary reviews, managing performance appraisals, and providing guidance on compensation-related matters.
  • Regional People Metrics: Lead the communication and review of regional people metrics with key leaders within the local offices. Facilitate and develop plans to help build strong retention and engagement within the region.

DIRECT REPORT: This position reports directly to the Vice President of People

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP role.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
  • Strong understanding of HR law and employee relations practices.
  • Experience in translating national HR strategies into local, regional cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated program implementation with ROI
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel to various office locations across the US.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in the Architecture Engineering industry.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
