Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations and strategic guidance? The University of Oklahoma seeks a dedicated Senior HR Business Partner to support our USPS Training Center. You will handle daily HR transactional activities and provide strategic coaching and guidance to faculty and staff. Typical Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in employee relations, performance management, discipline, and workplace disputes.
  • Manage job listings and candidate referrals for OU/USPS Contract staff; communicate with hiring managers and applicants; complete hires.
  • Source and identify potential candidates using various recruitment platforms.
  • Provide confidential support to management and staff, working with Legal Counsel and stakeholders to guide actions and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct HR outreach visits for on-site problem-solving and provide internal customer service regarding policies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 36 months of professional HR experience in Employee Relations or related field
Certifications:
  • Must have or obtain an active USPS Security Clearance within 90 days of hire
Physical Requirements:
  • Repetitive motions, effective communication, ability to work under pressure, computer use, prolonged sitting
Preferred Experience:
  • 60+ months of progressive HR experience
  • Previous OU HR experience
  • Experience with positive discipline, coaching, mentoring
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Cornerstone
  • Experience working with staffing vendors
