Morgan Hunter is partnering with a Kansas City-area organization to hire a Senior HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee benefits and wellness. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys benefits administration, building relationships, and creating programs that support employee well-being.

The Senior HR Generalist will manage benefits, retirement, and wellness programs; coordinate open enrollment; and oversee leave administration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with significant benefits administration.
• Knowledge of benefits, wellness programs, retirement plans, and leave management.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable addressing large groups.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Experience in an operations or production environment is a plus.
• SAP SuccessFactors experience and HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee benefits, retirement, and wellness programs.
• Serve as primary resource for benefits questions and concerns.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment, renewals, and communications.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, vendors, and third-party administrators.
• Oversee leave administration including FMLA and other leaves.
• Plan wellness initiatives and employee engagement activities.
• Monitor benefits compliance, reporting, and program effectiveness.
• Present benefits information to employees and leadership; support Total Rewards initiatives.
