Job summary

WM in Houston is seeking an experienced HR Data Intelligence and Optimization Analyst III to transform complex HR data into actionable insights supporting strategic decision-making. The role designs and maintains advanced reporting, dashboards, and analytics using Power BI, SQL, and Python, with a focus on automation and accuracy.

You will collaborate with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions, validate data, and drive continuous improvement in reporting processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Analytics, I/O Psychology or similar
• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience
• 5-8 years in analytics, BI, reporting, data management or related field
• Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
• Strong project management, prioritization and organizational skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Experience with HRIS platforms and HR data structures preferred
• Knowledge of HR analytics concepts and workforce data

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex analyses of HR and workforce data to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, SQL, and Python.
• Partner with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Develop and enhance automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure data integrity.
• Analyze workforce metrics like turnover, retention, movement, and planning.
• Support cross-functional projects with analytical expertise and reporting solutions.
• Document reporting processes, business rules, and data definitions for consistency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision-making across HR
