Job summary

Seattle Housing Authority is seeking a Senior HR Analyst to lead employee investigations and strengthen workplace relationships within the Employee Relations & Labor Relations team. You will support HR program design and policy execution under guidance from the Labor Relations Manager, covering employee relations, labor relations, and performance management.

The role involves advising departments on complex HR matters, delivering training, and coordinating special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Behavioral Science with HR coursework, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum six years of progressive experience as an HR Analyst or Business Partner.
• Experience in labor relations, employee relations, and workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of performance management practices and HR policy development.
• Exposure to HR strategy, program development, and policy creation.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of HR programs and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Assist employee relations and investigations and advise departments on complex HR matters.
• Participate in labor relations activities and contract interpretation.
• Design and deliver HR-related training to staff and management.
• Contribute to policy development, special projects, and internal communications.
• Maintain records and generate reports on HR metrics using HRIS and MS Office.
