Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Senior Manager, HR AI Strategy & Governance to shape where AI adds the most value across HR and to establish governance around its use. You will partner with HR and tech leaders to build a clear AI roadmap, prioritize use cases, and manage governance through legal, privacy, and security reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across HR technology, product management, or related areas.
• Experience developing AI or automation roadmaps, evaluating use cases, and turning business needs into practical solutions.
• Experience working with AI governance, data privacy, compliance, or risk-review processes.
• Familiarity with HR technology platforms such as Workday and data platforms such as BigQuery or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to explain AI capabilities, limitations, and risks clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience working across teams, managing competing priorities, and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Set direction for HR’s AI roadmap and identify priorities with HR leaders.
• Assess potential use cases based on value, feasibility, risk, and timing.
• Define and track measures of adoption, impact, and ROI for AI initiatives.
• Manage AI governance for HR and oversee intake/review for new use cases.
• Coordinate legal, privacy, security, and compliance reviews.
