Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, HR AI Strategy & Governance to shape where AI adds value across HR and to establish the governance framework for new AI initiatives.

You’ll partner with the Director of People Technology to define the AI roadmap, prioritize use cases, and drive adoption while ensuring legal, privacy, and security reviews are completed. You’ll provide direction on HR AI solutions, manage a direct report, and stay involved with scoping complex projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in HR tech, product management, or workflow automation, with HR experience.
• Experience developing AI or automation roadmaps, evaluating use cases, and turning business needs into practical solutions.
• Experience working with AI governance, data privacy, compliance, or risk reviews.
• Working knowledge of LLMs, automation tools, and enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with HR tech platforms such as Workday and data platforms such as BigQuery or Google Cloud Platform.
• Ability to explain AI capabilities, limitations, and risks clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience working across teams, managing competing priorities, and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.
• Track record of improving workflows, reducing manual work, and helping teams adopt new tools or processes.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring a direct report, or demonstrated readiness to take on people management for the first time.
