Job summary

Wilderness Way is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join the People Team and act as a trusted advisor to managers. You will handle employee relations cases and provide practical, straight-talking guidance to help build great teams and deliver a consistent colleague experience.

This hybrid role involves coaching managers, using HR data to improve ways of working, and contributing to People projects as Wilderness Way grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational or advisory HR roles.
• Experience handling employee relations cases.
• Strong communication and relationship-building.
• Knowledge of UK employment law.
• CIPD Level 3 or 5 preferred (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Lead on employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, flexible working).
• Advise managers with pragmatic, commercially focused HR guidance.
• Coach managers to build confidence in people issues.
• Spot ER trends and translate insights for senior managers.
• Support engagement, wellbeing, retention and career development.
• Use HR data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Get involved in People projects as the company grows.
