Job summary

Alcami Corporation is seeking a Senior Scientist I to perform analytical routine and non-routine testing in support of pharmaceutical product development or manufacturing. Methods include HPLC, dissolution, and GC, with others like titrations, UV, AA, and IR, following USP/EP or client-developed procedures.

This on-site 1st shift role emphasizes cGMP compliance, data evaluation, writing procedures and reports, and safe handling of hazardous materials; knowledge of Empower, ELN, and lab software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 8+ years experience, or Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
• 2+ years of experience in Pharmaceuticals drug product development under cGMP is required.
• CDMO experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops analytical methodology for analysis via HPLC, TOC, UV, and/or particle size.
• Performs GMP review of solutions and wet chemical analyses and chromatography.
• Performs one or more techniques: residual solvents, assays, dissolution, impurities, moisture, identification.
• Evaluates and interprets generated data.
• Writes test procedures, protocols, and reports.
• Maintains knowledge of instrumentation and safety; handles hazardous waste per regulations.
