Job summary

Alcami Corporation is seeking a Senior Scientist I to perform analytical testing and support pharmaceutical product development on-site in Durham, NC. Responsibilities include method development, validation, and reporting using HPLC, dissolution, GC, UV, and other techniques.

The role requires strong knowledge of cGMP, hands-on analytical expertise, and collaboration with clients and auditors. On-site, first shift, with potential travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• HPLC experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of cGMP in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Empower software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses advanced techniques for assays, dissolution, and related measurements.
• Develops and validates methods, test procedures, and reports.
• Understands the theoretical basis of methods/experiments.
• Maintains knowledge of instrumentation and safety practices.
• Analyzes data for accuracy and interprets results.
• Interacts with clients and participates in audits.
• Leads investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Ensures timely completion and cGMP training compliance.
